# Overview

POPGDP is (“Proof of Personhood based Grant Distribution Platform”) is a grants distribution platform that that empowers the  Worldcoin Community and leverages the World ID  

The goal of POPGDP is to experiment with grant distribution mechanisms. While the first  version supports only "1 person 1 vote" voting mechanism, the modular design allows for alternative voting methods (e.g., quadratic voting).
